Someday, may be on a Sunday

She was standing in the corner of the room, alone as always listing to this very handsome looking gentleman playing his Trumpet. She could hear people talking around her and breaking her concentration. All she wanted was for everyone to disappear so she could be all ears, but didn't happen. Soon the trumpeter stopped playing making her sad, she hadn't heard someone play so well and she didn't want him to stop.
She decided to step outside, it was a perfect night with the stars twinkling and the cold breeze blowing. She sat on the grass and grazed at the stars.
"Do you have a lighter?" asked a man with a husky voice from the dark
she got up to acknowledge the voice noticing it was none other than the trumpeter.
"Sorry, I don't smoke" she said in a trembling tone.
He walked out and sat next to her. They both sat there looking at the stars, neither of them spoke a word. He then broke the silence  "I don't smoke, I didn't know how else to get your attention".
She didn't react, she was happy thinking a guy so handsome wanted to talk to her.
"You are a great musician". she finally said
"Oh thank you"
"your expression is as if it is first time someone is complementing you"
"It is because  I have never been complimented by someone so beautiful"
silence struck neither of them knew what to say.
She looked at her watch it was time for her to leave.
"I have to leave, nice meeting you"
"Already? can't you stay a little longer?" He was surprised that he developed the guts to say it.
"I can't I need to get back to my family"
"Will I ever meet you 'Miss Cinderella' ?"
"Someday, may be on a Sunday"

That night they both couldn't sleep both hoping to see each other someday, maybe on a Sunday

Airport Romance- Chapter three

This is the moment I know I should say something to her something that would make her feel better, but I am out of words. It is so refreshing to see someone who is so in touch with her emotions. “God, here I am telling you my life story and I don’t even know anything about you. So what are you running from?” saying this her switch has worked again, there is a massive smile on her face and the spark is coming back. “I am running from my work, same old boring story.” “It cannot be that bad, what do you work as?” “ I am an actor.” “An actor, I haven’t met one before, are you any good.” “ Decent, I have a few fans here and there.” “Give me you phone.” “Oh okay, here you go.” I am not sure what she is looking for, but I can see her trying to google something. “You call yourself decent? God how many awards have you won?” “I have  a long way to go trust me.” There it is again she knows I am an actor and just like everyone else she is going to act all weird now. ...
