Gibson Through The Lens - Mumbai

Have you ever walked down memory lane in the midst of extremely talented people, I have at least that is what it felt when I entered to see the Gibson Through The Lens exhibition.I haven't seen something so mesmerizing.This was one place I didn't mind spending hours at.When they say they are showcasing the works of the worlds most respected photographers obviously your expecting to see their best work, it is when you see these photographs it is then you realize these are not just some amazing pictures but they are stories. Each photograph has something amazing to say. From Jimmy Hendrix, Elvis Presley, Jon Bon Jovi,Billy Joe, Bob Marley and many more they featured about 60 prints of legendary musician who left me awestruck.  
The Other People 
I am a 90's kid I have heard these artist and I appreciate their work but for some people it was way more thn that it is when I was interacting with Loy Henriques the Bass Guitarist of the band The Other People I realized it. He told me that seeing those picture refreshed his memories, how each of those artist  have somewhere played a huge part in his life while growing up it is then when it stuck me may be that is the aim of Gibson’s to take us on a time travel where you see these legendary musicians with the best Gibson guitars, every guitar I laid my eyes on only made me want them more.

The second best part of the exhibition  was the band The Other People paying tribute to the Icons a profound performance making the night even better.The best part about these guys is that they know what the crowd wants and they happen to give a personal touch to every song they sing. If you want to understand music and the emotion behind it is said take help form a musician in my case I was helped by the amazing members of The Other People.The amount of enthusiasm which with these guys where talking about each musician, each guitar helped me learn so much.One of my fondest memory came to life at this exhibition the memory of my sister buying me my first ever Gibson guitar.The excitement of holding the guitar for the first time that awesome feeling that I could achieve anything came back to life. The same excitement I could see on Samuel's face from The Other People holding his beautiful Gibson guitar. Similarly when Zarir and Gavin where walking down the exhibition the way they where talking about each artist made me realize that these guys are some kind of artist encyclopedia (the cool edition).
This exhibition sure brought back a lot of emotions to life.

Airport Romance- Chapter 8

Kimberly  Marcus has been gone for over an hour now and he still hasn’t called, in the mean time my friends have arrived. Laura and I have been childhood friends and neighbours when we were young. Her father decided to move to Beverly Hills when we were 10, but she got her way and still continued to go to the same school as before which is one of the reasons we have been friends for so long. We  ended up going to the same high school and later she went to Paris for an art course. She now organises art exhibits for established artist , I must say nothing has changed about her she is still head to toe covered with branded clothes though what I like about her is she is super down to earth so wearing a Gucci bag which cost half of peoples monthly wage hasn’t turned her into a snob. Airport Romance- Chapter 7

Kimberly  Thanks to Richard being back in LA doesn’t feel so bad, spending time with him was so much fun. It got fairly late till we got back home all thanks to me, after trying all those ice-creams we hardly had any energy to move till the time I dropped him and got home it was six in the morning. Dad saw me come home when he was leaving for his morning jog, but he didn’t ask anything and nor did I bother to tell him anything. Dad and mom have both been very patient with me, the day when I came back they both where in tears they hugged me and didn’t ask a thing, they did though complain about me not telling them that I was going to be home. We had a nice quiet family dinner that night even my brother Jacob joined us, he is still super annoying and had way too many questions for me luckily mom did put an end to his investigation, I sure did miss my family.
