Appreciating things is not that easy

I am someone who loves appreciating things and people so if  I come across someone who are really talented I will go out of my way to tell them that, now as easy as this sounds its not. For instance if a girl appreciates a male artist the first thought that comes to peoples mind is "she just likes his work cause he is hot, what does she know about art?" or " she is just flirting with him ". It is kind of a challenge to appreciate anything cause you know your being judged. Like I cannot appreciate a particular artist cause he is not too famous. Just cause the artist I like doesn't have millions of twitter followers doesn't make him less talented but no not everyone gets that.

This one instance I remember about my cousin being this huge fan of a local sketch artist and we must have been to like a few exhibitions, my sister loved his work and she must told him "N" number of times that. My cousin must have told everyone about him even asked them to go check is work out. I recently read that he is having a small exhibition near by and I told her we should go and she said no. Her saying no felt so weird cause the reason for her not going is the fact that her friends things that she is too obsessed with this guys work and if she goes to every exhibition that he has the artist will start taking her for granted. Some stupid logic that he will become so used to seeing her that he won't  appreciate the fact that she has come to support him. Its after this that she hasn't ever gone to any of his exhibitions.

I don't know if this logic is actually true that an artist gets bored for his regular fans.As odd is that sounds is actually happens, people say you need to keep updating you can't like a particular artist for too long cause soon he will be old school,it doesn't matter if his work matters to you its just not very cool to stick to one person.

Something that I have understood over a period of time is appreciating someone is at times misunderstood as flirting which is so weird. We all want to be appreciated then why is it so hard to appreciate someone else and why is that the intentions of someone who is appreciating something being questioned.

Treat Others As You Want To Be Treated

My motto has always been when in doubt write it out, I have been thinking about this for a really long time and I think I have finally  found the words.  You got to do something for me, think about the last time you bumped into someone or someone by mistake hit your hand. I doubt you can recall this instance now think of the time when someone said something to you which made you feel really small or miserable. I am sure you could think of at least one or two. Look at it this way when someone bumped into you it must have hurt you that time may be it even left your skin red, got a few reactions out of you. On the other hand when someone said something to you, randomly used a few words which left no physical scar on you it is this instance that you clearly remember, you know why because it is the way they made you feel.  The sad fact is that we have all done this, we have become the generation that doesn't think before we speak. We all have this friend who thinks he/she is so coo

Airport Romance- Chapter three

This is the moment I know I should say something to her something that would make her feel better, but I am out of words. It is so refreshing to see someone who is so in touch with her emotions. “God, here I am telling you my life story and I don’t even know anything about you. So what are you running from?” saying this her switch has worked again, there is a massive smile on her face and the spark is coming back. “I am running from my work, same old boring story.” “It cannot be that bad, what do you work as?” “ I am an actor.” “An actor, I haven’t met one before, are you any good.” “ Decent, I have a few fans here and there.” “Give me you phone.” “Oh okay, here you go.” I am not sure what she is looking for, but I can see her trying to google something. “You call yourself decent? God how many awards have you won?” “I have  a long way to go trust me.” There it is again she knows I am an actor and just like everyone else she is going to act all weird now. “Lon
