Save Girl Child

We all hear about parents killing their child if she is a girl, aborting the baby after knowing their sex. Sadly day-by-day the number of abortions has increased. Having been myself  brought up by parents who are so in love with me even after me being a girl child makes  it hard  for me to understand how some parents can kill their own baby, killing someone who hasn't even seen the face of the world. They sure have to be heartless for doing something like this.

We all live in a globalized world. People have grown in every walk of life but still it’s not just uneducated parents but people who are well to do in their life takes such steps. I don’t understand how does  it matters to someone that there to be baby is a girl or a boy who ever it is it’s a gift of God, something that is the part of them.

People say if “we have a boy he will take the family name forward and help them in their old age” such people really need  get there facts cleared and ask the parents of the N number of boys who have not even given it one thought before sending their own parents to an old age home. I am not saying all the boys will end up doing this, they won’t but just for the sake of a boy child you can’t kill a girl child. That is the most in human thing anyone can even think of doing it should be a far gone question.

I went to this grocery store last night where a mother with her angel daughter entered I couldn't resist myself from telling her how beautiful her daughter she is. The shopkeeper then looked at me and told me all the baby girls are beautiful, they are the greatest gift of God. He then mentioned his own four year old daughter saying “This girl is as cute as my 4 year old daughter; sadly she passed away few months back” as soon as he completed his sentence he had water in his eyes. Seeing him I realized that he knows the pain of losing a daughter and there are people who don’t even think before killing their own daughters. We sure do live in a very weird world.

According to the population statistics Seven lakh girls are killed by parents every year in India. That Is a huge number someone needs to do something about it and that someone is us. Let’s pledge to treat every girl child and boy child equally. It's rightly said "children’s are an heritage of the Lord, they are the success, safety, and the blessings of life”

Treat Others As You Want To Be Treated

My motto has always been when in doubt write it out, I have been thinking about this for a really long time and I think I have finally  found the words.  You got to do something for me, think about the last time you bumped into someone or someone by mistake hit your hand. I doubt you can recall this instance now think of the time when someone said something to you which made you feel really small or miserable. I am sure you could think of at least one or two. Look at it this way when someone bumped into you it must have hurt you that time may be it even left your skin red, got a few reactions out of you. On the other hand when someone said something to you, randomly used a few words which left no physical scar on you it is this instance that you clearly remember, you know why because it is the way they made you feel.  The sad fact is that we have all done this, we have become the generation that doesn't think before we speak. We all have this friend who thinks he/she is so coo

Airport Romance- Chapter three

This is the moment I know I should say something to her something that would make her feel better, but I am out of words. It is so refreshing to see someone who is so in touch with her emotions. “God, here I am telling you my life story and I don’t even know anything about you. So what are you running from?” saying this her switch has worked again, there is a massive smile on her face and the spark is coming back. “I am running from my work, same old boring story.” “It cannot be that bad, what do you work as?” “ I am an actor.” “An actor, I haven’t met one before, are you any good.” “ Decent, I have a few fans here and there.” “Give me you phone.” “Oh okay, here you go.” I am not sure what she is looking for, but I can see her trying to google something. “You call yourself decent? God how many awards have you won?” “I have  a long way to go trust me.” There it is again she knows I am an actor and just like everyone else she is going to act all weird now. “Lon
