My life : One Step at a time

Being a Doctor is a hard and badass job, in the OR when a person crashes and they have to start the resuscitation process they try and try until they find a heartbeat, sometimes it works sometimes not so much, but what I fail to understand is how do they decide it is time to stop trying, how does anyone decide that? Have you ever been in a situation where you are trying with all that you have got to complete a task  but it just doesn't seem to workout and just when you think may be it is time to give up, this little thing inside of you wants you to try one more time and this ends up to be your eureka moment, but  how does one ever know that if something is worth that one more try, worth walking that extra mile? My motto has always been when in doubt write it out, I have been thinking about this for a really long time and I think I have finally  found the words.  You got to do something for me, think about the last time you bumped into someone or someone by mistake hit your hand. I doubt you can recall this instance now think of the time when someone said something to you which made you feel really small or miserable. I am sure you could think of at least one or two. Look at it this way when someone bumped into you it must have hurt you that time may be it even left your skin red, got a few reactions out of you. We all have done this at least once may be, we tend to relate some habits, attributes to define a particular community or nationality. We all have created this perception about each other that if you belong to a particular country you tend to behave in a particular manner, which in unfair on way too many levels.  In the past few months I have been traveling a lot and I get asked questions which surprise me, but now I have started seeing a pattern in these questions, the questions are the same just the people asking are different. I don't know if it has ever happened to you but being an Indian I often get questions like "how come you are reading an english book ?" or "Oh you are a Muslim and an Indian?" or "Do you guys have a lot of wild animals back home?" She always hated airports they made her sad, the feeling of leaving her people, her city is not something she rejoiced. This time it was different it was not her city that she was leaving it was Scotland- the land of fairy tales which she had to bid goodbye so that she could go back to her reality.  The early morning alarm went off disrupting her trail of thoughts, she hadn't slept all night. There have always been a selected set of professions that are given a little more importance than others. The over glorified professions which people try to promote. There is nothing wrong about running behind them, but one can only find happiness in doing things that they like. 1 .   Bringing 10 bags with them  For one you are taking all the space and second the flight attendant isn't there to lift your bags.  2. Yelling at the flight attendant for flight delay.  Trust me there is no one more who wants that aircraft to land.  3. "The feeling of being lost and empowered at the same time" that is how I have felt in the past few weeks of my travel experience. From Melbourne to Dublin to Brussels it has been one crazy journey which has left me wanting for more.  Travel shows have always excited me, the recent one that has caught my attention has to be the upcoming web series by 101 India called Tap that, the show is about to start in 2 days which is on 17th September.
